hello jeremy... been quite busy lately so i have not time to read blogs and comment... well thanks for linking me up....

i like lincon's quote the best.... we may have been adding up insignificant years on our lives but surely not all of those years we have been living a life.... what is best is to have been living not merely existing idly...

tnx for sharing us thoughts of great minds... for in our own very way we have our minds being great ...

good day

Glad to give you the link! I like the Lincoln quote too, but I do hope that there are a lot of years in my life. Thanks for the comment!

Jeremy,

I have given you a small award. Well, it sorta comes with a little meme attached to it. That's optional, of course. Come see it at my blog.

P.S. You had me scared for a moment, quoting George H. W.

All great quotes! I also was nervous when I saw "W" on there. I thought all his quotes were stupid, but that one ain't bad.

All of "W"'s quotes that I found were stupid:) "H.W." is George Bush the elder president. I'd love to know how many of the great quotes of presidents actually came from them or from a really good speech writer. Modern era Presidents say too much stuff written by others for 30-second sound bites, but it often lacks depth or inspiration. Thanks for the comments!

In my opinion, quote number one is the first one for a reason. “And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years”. That is so true. A good example of it is Georgia O’Keefe, that at her nineties she was still in love with her life and climbing mountains.
Geisa Gonzalez.
